I Measures to be Taken
- Drink plenty of warm water throughout the day.
- At least 30 minutes of Yogasana, Pranayama, and meditation per day
- Spices such as Haldi (Turmeric), Jeera (Cumin), Dhaniya (Coriander), and others, as recommended by the Ministry of AYUSH.
In cooking, lahsun (garlic) is suggested.
II Ayurvedic Immunity Enhancing Techniques
- Take 10gm (1tsf) of Chyavanprash first thing in the morning. Sugar should be taken by diabetics.
- Drink Tulsi (Basil) and Dalchini herbal tea/decoction (Kadha).
- (Cinnamon), Kalimirch (Black pepper), Shunthi (Dry Ginger), and Munakka are some of the spices used.
- Once or twice a day (Raisin). Add jaggery (natural sugar) and/or fresh fruit to the mix.
If necessary, add lemon juice to taste.
Golden Milk –
- 1 teaspoon Haldi (turmeric) powder in 150 ml boiling milk
- Once or twice a day is aplenty.
III Simple Ayurvedic Procedures
In the morning and evening, apply sesame oil, coconut oil, or ghee to both nostrils (Pratimarsh Nasya).
